The Genting Cable Car is an aerial gondola lift system that takes visitors up to the Genting Highlands. There are two cable car routes that travel this route, the Awana SkyWay, and the Genting SkyWay.
The Genting Highlands is a resort development in Pahang, Malaysia filled with hotels, casinos, malls, and theme parks. Located just 35 km away from Kuala Lumpur, it is a popular weekend getaway from the city.

The Genting Highlands experience the mildest weather between November and April.
If you want to get the best and clearest views of the surrounding mountains from the cable car, try to go on a ride in the morning before 10 AM when the weather is clear.
If you are hoping to catch the sunset, go during the late afternoon or early evening, between 5 and 7 PM.
